Aug. 2, 2011 - PRLog -- Sydney based photographer Matthew Syres launches a new exhibition of limited edition fine art prints at Gallery Red, shop 11, 131-145 Glebe Point Road, Glebe on Friday 19th August 2011, with drinks from 6 to 8pm. The exhibition continues until the 30th of August and is open Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm, Saturday 10am to 3pm.

The exhibition is of a toned black and white series taken during a 10 day, 3792km Australian road trip between Whitsunday Shire, North Queensland and The Dandenong Ranges, Victoria in December 2009.  These moody, mysterious and almost magical images of Australia's East Coast are presented as 12" x 18" archival Giclée prints on 18" x 24" Hahnemuhle Bamboo Paper, a fine art stock made from 90 percent bamboo, 10 percent cotton rag, and are for sale in a limited edition of 25 each.

As a gesture of support and thanks to the amazing country that inspired this exhibition, fifteen percent of sales from the prints will be donated to World Wide Fund For Nature's Queensland Flood Recovery Appeal.
