There are 2 ways to deal with leaky basement foundation walls:
1- Excavate around the outer wall, inspect for cracks. Repair visible cracks, replace all exposed weeping tiles, seal wall with foundation coating and install foundation membrane, back-fill. This has always been the preferred method for most basement waterproofing.

2- Create an Interior Drainage System by installing a foundation membrane against the inner foundation wall and creating an interior weeping tile system.

This second method of basement waterproofing is normally utilized when the walls are composed of brick, stone or block and/or where there is insufficient room to dig along the outer wall(s). An Interior Drainage System can also be a less costly option.
