The StarPals Inspire Children to Make our World a Brighter Place - Book Signing Launch August 6th

July 28, 2011 - PRLog -- Ladera Ranch, CA –  August 6, 2011    The children have patiently waited three years for this moment.  The StarPals inspiring and empowering book series announces their first signing Saturday August 6, 2011 at Toy Town Inc, located at 25632 Crown Valley Parkway, Suite B in Ladera Ranch, CA.  Meet the author between 10am and 3pm for a fun-filled afternoon.  Learn how The StarPals encourage children and parents to embrace the Creative Star that they are, and help make our world a brighter place.  

The StarPals book series addresses the importance of social and emotional learning, a crucial aspect to a child’s happiness and success in life.  

“By strengthening and increasing social-emotional educational opportunities, we will increase our children's capacity to learn, give them the tools to aspire to personal and professional achievements, and enable them to experience personal satisfaction”, said Dr. Robin Stern, Ph.D., author of Understanding Emotions in the Classroom and Emotionally Intelligent School Counseling.

The StarPals team consists of: Patty Patience, Korey Kindness, Haley Humble, Tommy Truth, Shari Sharing, Tobey Thankful and Livey Love.  Each personality shares nine different scenarios where their audience can apply the values and virtues they teach into their everyday lives.  The reader is then encouraged to look for creative opportunities to improve and strengthen individual and group social and emotional learning skills.  

“The first night we read it, I thought, “that was a cute little book”.  However, the next day, my children did something I have NEVER witnessed. They sat in their own car-seats, helped one another buckle up, and folded their little hands into fists in their laps. I just stared at them and asked, “What is going on?” That is when all three children answered, “practice patience!!”, said Natalie Richards, after reading Patty Patience to her children.
The StarPals overall goal and mission is to reach ALL of the children throughout the world to help them acknowledge the power of their individual and collective choices.  The primary focus is to value integrity and encourage children to look for creative solutions that empower one to be in service to the greater whole of humanity.  

The StarPals message is universal.  It is beyond words, belief systems, races or cultures.   The choice is to nurture the simplicity of human nature and stand in integrity when offered choices that are not in alignment or do not resonate within the heart or mind.   The StarPals offer the tools, encouragement, and leadership.  It is then up to the children to be the change they wish to see in the world by choosing to be authentic, accountable and transparent in their thoughts, words and actions.
