This session will begin with a review of trends impacting exhibitions and events, including the 2010 Red Diamond Congress, and the implication of these trends on the value of exhibitions now and in the future. Like any ecosystem, their needs to be good alignment and compatibility between the value drivers for all event constituents – attendees, exhibitors and organizers – if each constituent is to attain maximum value. Exhibitors play a role in delivering value to the other constituents, just as they expect good value in return from the other constituents for their investment. This session will identify these value drivers and examine the key strategic planning elements necessary to maximize the return on investment from exhibiting.
