The Playdate Artists have been getting together several times a month for the past year.  Each member brings an art project of their own choosing and works independently during their time together, offering encouragement and insights to each other.  This exciting group of artists love art and can think of no better way to spend a few hours together.

Robyn Burns taught art for many years in the Nutley Public Schools and has previously shown her work locally at the Montclair Women’s Club, the Colonnades Gallery at the Union Baptist Church, Orange.  She works in watercolor, gouache and acrylic paints.

Joan Donnelly of Clifton is a self-taught artist who has been practicing and painting acrylic works for many years.  When traveling with husband, Donnelly journals and creates miniature sketches, some of which are on display in this show.

Glen Ridge resident, Lynne Palmer has been enthusiastically painting since she retired three years ago and has been trying out all media to explore the merits of each.  Palmer has donated three of her paintings to the Oakside Cultural Center in Bloomfield, NJ that have been sold to benefit Rett Syndrome.
