Rotary Club of Chennai Thiruvanmiyur helps Tribal Community get Potable Water

July 25, 2011 - PRLog -- Two Years back the Rotary Club of Chennai Thiruvanmiyur adapted a remote Tribal Hamlet in Thirupper a small Village in Thiruvallur district about 60 Kilometers from Chennai. One of the biggest problems faced by the villagers was the availability of Clean Drinking water although the hamlet was a couple of Kilometers from the Poondi Reservoir which supplies water to Chennai City. Rotary Club of Chennai Thiruvanmiyur then decided to do something about this basic need and helped in digging a Borewell.
