Fresh Portabella Mushrooms Launched

Ltd., growers of the “Eco Valley “brand of Fresh White Button Mushrooms, have recently added another exotic variety of mushrooms; the “Fresh Portabella Mushrooms” an elite continental delicacy which is being introduced for the first time in India.

The mushrooms are low in fat, cholesterol free, high in fibre and are a good source for various essential minerals. Freshly harvested Portabella Mushroom caps are two to five inches in diameter, are light tan in colour and have an open veil with visible gills on the underside.
They also have distinctly rich flavour and a meatier mouth feel. When fried grilled or sautéed,

Portabella Mushrooms can serve as an ingredient, side dish when topped with cheese, vegetables, meats and sauces. They are available in pack sizes of 200gms and 1Kg, priced at Rs.40 and Rs.175 respectively.
