'Tactics Anthem Game-n-Book' is the first Singapore combo-product to debut in Shanghai (Chinajoy ).

Tactics Anthem will be featured at Chinajoy 2011 in Shanghai through a specially commissioned portal made possible through efforts between companies in Singapore and China. The China portal will host Chinese-language online games for Chinese gamers.

July 24, 2011 - PRLog -- Singapore. Tactics Anthem, which is a Book and Online Game concoction, will be featured through a special portal made available through efforts between Singapore and China during Chinajoy 2011, the largest games show in Asia.  According to CEO of iCELL, Mr Ken Chua - this could be the first time a localized Singapore-based title is made into Chinese, as part of a collaboration with multiple partners from both countries .

iCELL is a partnering developer of Tactics Anthem. Mr Chua says that ‘Tactics Anthem is honored to be among the first games chosen to be hosted in the Singapore-China portal.’ Mr Chua believes that Tactics Anthem is the first ever Game-n-Book product in the whole South East Asia to debut in China. He hopes to work with other developers from both East and West to co-develop new online titles for the Chinese market at the Chinajoy event. Mr Chua will be attending the Press Conference to be held at Kerry Hotel, Shanghai on 27 July 2011 2:30pm where the Chinese portal will be officially launched. The URL and the portal name will be revealed during the Press Conference, together with the outreach plans by various parties.

Tactics Anthem is originally coded in English. To facilitate its localization into Chinese, other than language translation, some images have also been changed to suit the taste of the Chinese audience. It is envisaged that when the full system is up, players from the US can play against players in China through the Singapore portal. The US player will see the China player’s cards in English while the Chinese player will see the US player’s cards in Mandarin. iCELL is also looking at including automatic translation service so that during chat sessions, players can converse in their native language in the same session.
