Ungar Ushers In A New Era In Transportation With Wheel®

July 20, 2011 - PRLog -- ÇATALHÖYÜK, Mesopotamia -- (ROCKTRADE WIRE) -- Circa 2011 BC-- Ungar (ROCKDAQ:UNGAR) today marked another milestone in technological advancement with the introduction of Wheel®, the long anticipated device that enables the movement of large objects over greater distances than ever before.

With its revolutionary "circular" design, Wheel® rolls over surfaces with much less effort than carrying by hand, and can support weights much too heavy for a single man. The product is an improved design based on Ungar's Square®, which provided excellent stability for heavy objects but did not provide support for transportation.

By combining two or more Wheel® devices, moving rocks, people or even large animal carcasses has never been easier, requiring only minimal physical exertion. Ungar has made the designs for the revolutionary product available as open source, allowing continued development and refinement of the device.

"Ungar did it!," said Runguh, a native of this pre-historic cave community, whose cave is in the same mountainside as Ungar’s. "Now I can move all of these rocks."

In developing Wheel®, Ungar teamed with local rock tool carver Makbah to create a round stone object that features a hollowed-out center, allowing for the placement of a wooden rod to connect with another Wheel® device. To transport items, they must be placed upon this center rod. Ungar noted that he is in the process of developing a platform for the movement of larger quantities of rocks and other materials.

"Ungar wanted to move things," said company spokesman Ungar.  "Heavy things.  And Ungar got tired."  Ungar said he was inspired to develop the product after seeing an ant on a rock that was rolling down a hill.

"Ungar thought, 'Ungar could be that ant.  Ungar could "roll" down hills. Ungar want to rock and roll." The phrase “rock and roll” is now a trademark of UngarCorp, International.

The project was completed after 23 passes of the sun.  The source code for Wheel® is available on cave drawings throughout Mesopotamia.
