July 20, 2011 - PRLog -- The hit stage play “Who Killed Uncle Pete?” has shocked the industry and is preparing for their 8th show.  This wonderful production sold out shows June 2009 at the 14th Street Playhouse in Atlanta, Georgia; and returned to the Playhouse January 2010 for a repeat.  They graced the stage May 2010 at the historical E. E. Bass Cultural Arts Center in Greenville, Mississippi (the writer’s hometown); shut the block down Oct. 2010 at the state of- the-art, Porter Sanford III Performing Arts Center in Decatur, Georgia; and amazed the audience June 2011 at the beautiful Dublin Theatre in Dublin, Georgia.

Their 8th show is scheduled for Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the College Park City Auditorium, 3631 Main Street, College Park, Georgia 30337.  Tickets are $15 in advance and $20.00 at the door and can be purchased at www.whokilledunclepete1@eventbrite.com or at the Berean Christian Bookstore, 441 Cleveland Avenue, Atlanta, Georgia 30315.

Sherry Bell-Bradley is the writer, director and the producer of this wonderful production.  Sherry states, “Who Killed Uncle Pete?” is not just a stage play - it is a ministry.  The play focuses on "life issues" of all races.  This is not a Bible-bashing, male-bashing or female-bashing play.  We have had an astonishing number of men, children and elderly of all races attend our productions and we are truly grateful for the public’s support.”

Starring the show is Wendell Fields, Debora Hurt, Janice Hogan, and Rita Sands.  The cast of “Who Killed Uncle Pete?” is an alliance of professional actors who have appeared in box office hits, nationwide–commercials; and the Oscar award–winning movie “The Blind Side” (Rita Sands in the laundry mat scene).

The play consists of elements of comedy, mystery, encouragement, repentance, hope and happiness.  This production has a flare of Mississippi culture, and it will keep you guessing until the very end.  With clean, family-fun, "Who Killed Uncle Pete?" has proven to be a big hit sure to have you laughing until your side hurts.

Synopsis:  Most families have at least one family member where you dread their appearance at any family reunion because of their rude behavior.  In the McCloud Family, that relative is Uncle Pete who shows up uninvited, insults several family members, and ends up dead.  Who really killed Uncle Pete?  Hard to determine when so many people wanted him dead.

The show has had a great couple of years and this new playwright, Ms. Sherry Bell- Bradley, has truly made her mark in this industry.
