July 20, 2011 - PRLog -- Label Me Royalty has started a letter writing campaign called "Our Voice - Our Vision" that was launched on it's website and through Facebook Causes.

There are many messages shared in our communities through magazines, newspapers, television, and radio. We might not always agree on who is sharing these messages and what the messages really are, but we do have the power and the options of:

- Controlling which ones have the most influence.
- Supporting the people behind the messages that are shared.
- Becoming more proactive with our combined voices.
- Utilizing the media that relate to our situations and share our concerns.

The goal of this campaign is to do all of the above by sending a letter to the Black owned media and gathering signatures of support. We would also like for Black owned media to publish the letter or spread the word about the letter through their outlet. At this time we would like to send this letter to Ebony/Jet Magazines and Radio One. We would like to send this same letter to local media with the help of people that sign this letter.

We believe that our letter will carry much weight by using the voices of entire groups of people along with individuals. Please show your support by using the link below to add your name as a supporter. All of the signatures will be sent as an attachment to the letter. Include your name in the letter by using the form below.

We hope that this letter gets read and shared as much as "The Willie Lynch Letter" and "The Letter From The KKK"

Include your name by using the link below and filling out the form on the page you are taken to. Please like this page, share the links, and invite everyone you know.

Label Me Royalty was created by Seeing Growth owner Emmanuel Brown on September 24th, 2009, to reach the minds of young people by supporting them in ways that allow them to see positive examples that Black Men and Black Women are setting in our communities. This initiative intends to share positive influences through the stories of Black People that will help over-shadow the negative images that play a dominant role in what Black Americans are and should strive to be. I Am Royalty: Profiles In Black History is a project that was created to help benefit this program by being examples of positivity, progress, unification and collaboration.

I Am Royalty: Profiles In Black History is not attempting to ignore the ills in our society, we are simply putting emphasis on the successful parts of it and the positive parts of the people that make up our communities.
