Under Armour National Tournaments and Team One Baseball head for Roger Dean Stadium

July 21, 2011 - PRLog -- Since 1992 Team One Baseball has served as the showcase division of the Baseball Factory.  Team One Baseball organizes the national Under Armour Tournaments that give young elite athletes the opportunity to be seen by a large contingent of college recruiters and professional scouts in a central location.  The Under Armour Labor Day Classic and Under Armour Fall Classic provide the top young baseball players nation wide to showcase their talents on a truly national stage in front of college and professional scouts at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, Florida.

”Baseball Factory: Did this showcase help you?
CC Sabathia: The Team One showcase definitely helped me.  The competition level was outstanding.  Every guy was throwing over 90mph and it was good to see how other guys work and play the game.  It really motivated me.  I wasn’t as highly touted going into the showcase and it helped put me on the map and in the right direction to be a first rounder.  Without Team One I don’t think I would have gone as high in the draft.

Baseball Factory: What advice would you give to other kids thinking about attending a Team One event?
CC Sabathia: It’s a great way to see where you’re at and what talent you really have.  You go up against the best players in the country at Team One so you can see your skills up against the best players in the country.  It’s good to see these other kids and how others work hard.  It can be a real motivator seeing this type of talent.”

16U or 2014 Grads

•   Teams will play (2) pool play games, (3) game guarantee
•   Games will be 7 innings in length

•   Players must use BBCOR bats
•   Two umpires will be provided for each game
•   Game balls will be provided for each game

•   Certified athletic trainer will be on site each day
•   Scouting reports on top players from event will be submitted to Baseball America
•   Team One will market the tournament to college recruiters and professional scouts

•   Games will be 7 innings in length

•   Participating players will strongly be considered for the Under Armour All America Game
•   Scouting reports on top players from event will be submitted to Baseball America
•   Team One will market the tournament to college recruiters and professional scouts
