MK Events and MommyQ Host Bachelorette Season Finale Watch Party Benefitting Autism Speaks

July 21, 2011 - PRLog -- Two Austin women, Michele Utt of MK Events and Cathy of MommyQ.com, are partnering to throw The Bachelorette (ABC) Season Finale Watch Party which will also serve as a fundraiser for Autism Speaks. Autism is especially near to Cathy’s heart as her oldest son was diagnosed with autism at the age of three. Today he’s thriving thanks to speech therapy, occupational therapy, behavioral therapy and the help of loving teachers and family members.

The Bachelorette Watch Party, the brainchild of Michele, an event planner known for uniting fun and philanthropy, is taking place at a gorgeous estate in Lakeway on 170 acres, complete with a pool and a view overlooking the Texas Hill County.  Title sponsors for the event include Baldwin Beauty School, Premier Data Com and Warren Kull with www.yourlaketravishome.com. Party attendees will enjoy beautiful swag bags valued at $700 in products and services, as well as a variety of treats from event sponsors  

Flowers by Nancy will fill the space with beautiful bouquets of red roses, matching the ambiance with the question of the night... who will get the final rose?  To accentuate the luxuries of the night event more, Chef Paul Peterson, who was featured on TLC's BBQ Pitmasters, and currently the executive chef at Austin's Tex-Mex Restaurant, Vivo, will be firing up the kitchen, giving all the ladies a chance to taste the food straight from an authentic "kitchen rockstar."  The party will also feature complimentary appetizers by Mandola's, wine by Flat Creek Winery, cocktails courtesy of Treaty Oak Rum and Graham's Texas Tea, and dessert a la Michelle's Patisserie.
