Hit Machine Takes the Stage July 28 at Bridgeport Village for the 2011 Summer Concert Series

July 18, 2011 - PRLog -- TIGARD, Ore. – Bridgeport Village, Portland’s premiere shopping and dining destination, will host Hit Machine, Thursday, July 28, 2011 as part of the Bridgeport Village Summer Concert Series presented by Audi.

The fourth concert in the series of eight, Hit Machine will take stage under the giant gazebo in center court of Bridgeport Village from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

With sets ranging from Stayin’ Alive (Bee Gees), You Shook Me All Night Long (AC/DC) and Kiss (Prince), the 4-piece band, Hit Machine plays rock ballads from all eras. Scappoose-based Hit Machine headlined the Hood to Coast relay in Seaside in 2010.

“The variety of music performed by Hit Machine appeals to all ages and tastes,” said Kiki Hanover, Marketing Director of Bridgeport Village. “We’re excited to see the crowd rock out with them this week.”

Taking place every Thursday through August 25, the free concerts also feature wine and beer vendors, food, reserved seating and a large children’s play area. A portion of food and drink sales will be donated to The Foundation for Tigard-Tualatin Schools Bridging the Gap campaign. Donations to the Foundation may also be made at each concert. Local youth acts from the Tigard-Tualatin School District will once again be warming up the crowd every Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
