“We have more film submissions than last year, 343 from 23 countries and we're excited to bring Cincinnati many of these brave and beautiful films into our programming this year,” said Executive Director Kat Steele. “As a special benefit to our filmmakers this year, we have a partnership with Constellation.tv - the first global online movie theater, where we will feature up to 25 films from the festival. Filmmakers will get an amazing non-exclusive distribution opportunity to continue showing their films in Constellation.tv’
s online theaters after the festival, receiving a percentage of ticket revenue for as long as their films show on the platform.”
The Cincinnati Film Festival is concentrating its efforts by presenting the festival event in four days, to make it more accessible to its participating filmmakers from around the world. This year’s festival takes place September 29 - October 2, 2011, downtown Cincinnati at the Cincinnati Club.
