Rockville High 2011 Graduate Wins Car from Key Hyundai of Manchester

July 14, 2011 - PRLog -- Key Hyundai of Manchester proudly delivered the keys to a Key-certified and serviced, preowned, one-owner '05 Hyundai Santa Fe to Alex Mann, the Rockville High School Class of 2011 graduate whose lucky name was pulled in the Key Hyundai Used Car Giveaway at Project Graduation.

Rockville High School 2011 Project Graduation is a 25+ year parent run event offering a substance-free, all night free celebration for all Rockville High School graduates. Jill Merriam, owner of Key Hyundai of Manchester (http://www.keycars.com/), pledged to be the 2011 automotive sponsor, donating a gently used car to be given away at 4:00 am to one lucky graduate. Alex Mann had his lucky name pulled.

"The Santa Fe is so nice! I never expected such a great car to be the prize," Mann said when reached by phone. Mann plans on enrolling at Southern Connecticut State University this fall, and plans to study sports management. He'll leave the car behind for now, with many driving aged sibling eyeing it jealously.

Key Hyundai hopes to return to Project Graduation next year as well

Jill Merriam, owner of Key Hyundai of Manchester (http://www.keycars.com/), hopes to return as the automotive sponsor for Project Graduation next year. "This is a great organization," Merriam said. "It is fully sponsored by parent volunteers and local businesses in an effort to create a safe evening for all the graduates. I'm proud to be a part of it, and Alex is a great kid."
