Proposals Being Accepted for Youth Employment Training Project/Bidder Conference July 21
Organizations are being sought to provide employment, training and education services to economically disadvantaged older youth in Oxnard. A bidder’s conference is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 21.
A total of $150,000 is available to one or more contractors to serve WIA eligible youth. Program services will need to be available beginning in late September 2011 through June 30, 2012. Contractors will work in partnership with the BESD of the County of Ventura Human Services Agency to ensure the full array of WIA services are available to assist youth achieve their educational and employment goals.

Copies of the RFP are available at the Human Services Agency office (855 Partridge Drive, Ventura) and at www.vchsa.org (click on the RFP link). The RFP submission deadline is 4:00 p.m., August 11.
