Clement Banda, M.D., Achieves Board Certification by the American Board of Phlebology

Earlier this year, he also earned board certification in Dermatologic Laser Surgery by The American Board of Laser Surgery. These prestigious certifications distinguish Dr. Banda as a Diplomate of both of these boards.

Certification by the American Board of Phlebology (ABPh) is awarded to less than 1% of phlebologists in the U.S. and Canada who have passed a stringent certification exam, met rigorous standards of education, experience and evaluation—and who demonstrate a continuing commitment to the advancement of vein care. Similarly, the American Board of Laser Surgery (ABLS) represents the only medical specialty board devoted to the use of lasers in medicine. To become an ABLS Diplomate requires successful completion of requisite training and experience qualifications—and passage of written and oral exams.
