Second regional Jordan Money, Business Forum & Expo launched next December

July 12, 2011 - PRLog -- Under Royal patronage, United Jordan for Exhibitions Co., announced the launch of the preparations for the regional Jordan Money and Business Forum & Expo “Jordan Mal 2011” to be held on 5 – 7 of December, 2011.

To be Held at Zara expo on a 2000 square meter space at Grand Hyatt Amman Hotel, the forum & expo will be focusing on the economic and investment dimensions in Jordan, considering its upcoming inclusion in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

This year’s forum & expo includes GCC and regional participations, hosting well-known economic experts and investors, in addition to banks, financial and investment institutions from the Arab world and GCC, unlike last year that focused on Jordanian participations.

Jordan Mal 2011 will take place for the second consecutive year, after an enormous success in its previous edition, launched under the patronage of Marwan Awad, Chairman of Association of Banks in Jordan, with the participation of 30 banks, financial institutions, and more than 200 executive and businessperson from various economic sectors. The previous edition witnessed more than 2000 visitors.

“What distinguishes our forum & expo this year is the honor of His Royal Majesty, King Abdullah II’s patronage, which translates into a high level devotion for the economic and investment sectors, to better and develop Jordan,” stated Haitham Yakhlef, United Jordan CEO.

“Through Mal Jordan 2011, we aim to contribute in supporting the economic and investment cooperation between Jordan and the GCC, in addition to creating an annual forum for high-level economic and investment experts in the region. This aims to expanding the communication channels, businesses, and investments in various sectors, in addition to providing a window of opportunities for companies and their targeted audience,” Yakhlef added.

Yakhlef pointed out the role of the conference, expo, and economic forums industry in economic development through linking Arab and Jordanian businesspersons at one hand, and official organizations and Jordanian establishments at the other. The industry stimulates a large number of sectors including tourism, ICT, and media, among others, to uplift the economy.

According to the Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO), this year’s agenda includes 27 specialized, trade expos. Experts in the industry forecasts that the Kingdom holds a strong potential for development, as it is considered a portal for the region’s countries, enjoying high level of security and economic stability, in addition to its flourishing tourism and hospitality.
