David Laws MP officially opens Pardoes Solicitors’ new Yeovil office
Yeovil MP David Laws officially opened Pardoes Solicitors’ new Yeovil office on Friday 8 July. Around fifty guests, including the Mayor of Yeovil, Philip Chandler, attended the launch event, which marks a new chapter in Pardoes’ history.
Pardoes has had an office in the town since 2007. However, its new office, Grade II listed Glenthorne House situated on Princes Street, will provide a substantial presence in Yeovil’s town centre. The larger premises, coupled with 25 full time staff, mean that Pardoes can offer its full range of legal services in Yeovil, from services for individuals through to legal advice and HR support for businesses.
Kit O’Brien, Managing Partner of Pardoes, said, “This is a day we have all been looking forward to as we are really excited about being in Yeovil. We are so pleased to be in the town centre and we are ready to become a really active part of the community. We have a fantastic team who will provide a first class legal service to the people of Yeovil and the surrounding areas. We want to be an important part of the community and that is why we are delighted that so many representatives of the local area are here to celebrate the official opening."
Pardoes is a well established South West legal firm with 16 partners and 86 staff across its three offices in Bridgwater, Yeovil and Taunton. It has expanded many of its specialist sectors in the past two years, appointing five new partners to head up its core business divisions in the fields of private client, family and property; increasing its expertise in employment law; and continuing the significant growth of its injury division.
