Seasoned professionals advise and mentor young visionaries with big dreams

“Never give up your dream” is the motto and the name of a new foundation-style organization with a very specific cause – helping young people with creative visions and big dreams to succeed.

July 10, 2011 - PRLog -- “We live in an unique country. In the US, we enjoy wide-reaching personal freedoms and a pursuit to happiness - guaranteed by our Constitution. Our free-market environment promotes individuality, creativity, competition and big ideas”, Dr. Pierre A. Kandorfer says, the founder of the organization.

Not just our "elites", most "everyday people" too develop great ideas and big dreams. Unfortunately, many of them give up when encountering first hurdles. This is their problem.

Truth is that virtually all successful inventors, entrepreneurs, scientists, researchers, businessmen, artists, musicians and other accomplished people started "small" - but with a big dream.

The difference between people who succeeded in a big way and us is that they never gave up. How many experiments did Edison make before his breakthrough? Thousands. The difference is persistence. “Therefore, never give up! Our Advisory Board members will try to help you”, Pierre Kandorfer points out.

The other misconception is that only "exceptionally intelligent", smart, best-educated people have a chance to succeed with their big dreams. Not true! Einstein used to be an average student - and many of the best inventors never saw a college class. How many famous entrepreneurs started in a little garage before hitting the jackpot? Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Carl W. Siemens - just to name a few.

Don't think that these people never faced big hurdles. Alexander Bain, fax machine inventor, couldn't get a small loan to start his production. Banks considered his invention "worthless"...

Many young people with big visions often get a terrible advice.” I dreamed about becoming professional pilot when I was five. Everybody told me that I must be a valedictorian to become a pilot. I gave up - and revived my dream almost fifty years later. Too late for a career as an airline pilot… My dream was over”, Kandorfer admits.

The greatest inventions have been usually introduced by people considered "weird", "day dreamers", sometimes even "useless idiots". This aura of resentment and defeat is the biggest obstacle to stay on course. Many dreamers become impatient and give up.

“Here is where we want to step in with education, motivation, advice and potential mentorship”, the founder emphasizes, “and we are looking for people who want to contribute their advice or support our cause in any way they can.” Website: NeverGiveUpYourDream.org
