Long Term Airport Parking Issues at San Jose

The changes to on-airport parking at San Jose Airport were supposed to make things easier for travelers, but it seems that not everyone is happy with what’s been going on. One of the main problems here is the issue of long term parking.
July 7, 2011 - PRLog -- Suffield, CT, July 07, 2011 -- It has been predicted that these on-airport long term parking spaces will fill up most weekends, which suggests that passengers looking to park their cars for any length of time might have some difficulties. The fact that the long term lot has been renamed and moved to a new location on the airport grounds could also provide further confusion for travelers.

Much of the significant investment in the parking is impressive and short term and hourly stay visitors will see vast improvements in keeping with SJC's label as 'The Nations Most Modern Airport'. For those people due to fly out of San Jose Airport who are looking for a reliable long term parking solution, there are off site SJC parking alternatives available. You can find multiple off airport parking lots within a mile of the airport, complete with free shuttle bus to take you all the way to your destination. These off site parking lots also compare favorably in terms of price: while the on airport economy lot is charging $15 a day for people to park there, you can find off airport parking alternatives for as little as half the price.

As the impact of the parking changes at San Jose Airport take effect, it will be interesting to see what happens with the long term parking options.
