-- Stock & Option Solutions (SOS), a leading provider of stock plan administration, management, and consulting services, has announced Aspirations 2011, SOS’s inaugural equity compensation conference for emerging private companies. The all-day conference for executives and stock plan staff from private companies targeting a liquidity event, such as an IPO, in the next year to three years, will be held on July 26th at the Santa Clara Marriott. This pioneering conference features panels and general sessions bringing together national equity compensation thought leaders from legal, consulting, accounting, taxation, and domestic & international stock plan management practices.
Conference attendees will learn about the best practices, participant communications, , and transitioning strategies companies have used and are using to prepare their equity compensation programs for the post-IPO arena. The conference will feature two general sessions and 11 break-out sessions. Topics include stock plan vendor selection, equity plan design, international considerations, equity accounting practices, participant communications, stock plan tracking & data management, and an overview of the complete IPO process for company equity plans. There is also a lunch and networking/cocktail reception scheduled.
