Follow on Google News | Ducati Revs New England 2011 Track Day Event - Sold Out!The Penguin Roadracing School’s Ducati Rev’s New England event scheduled for Monday, July 11, 2011 is officially sold out. The school has expanded the series from the original New England location to include schools in New Jersey and Alabama.
By: Penguin Roadracing School “We are extremely pleased that the popularity of the Ducati events keeps growing,” said Eric Wood, President of the Penguin Roadracing School. “To accommodate more riders we added dates in New Jersey and Alabama to our special event schedule. We wish we could accommodate more students at each event, however, we are committed to providing everyone with the individual attention they need, therefore, we have to limit attendance.” Ducati Revs New England is the first of the 2011 series of Ducati Revs events. Each event includes special guest appearances as well as support from the school’s sponsors. The New England event will include presentations by Hall of Fame Tuner, Bruce Meyers, and a special display by school sponsor, Vanson leathers. Bruce Meyers will be sharing his extensive performance knowledge with exclusive presentations covering “easy” street bike set-up tips for the race track as well as demystifying the latest Ducati electronics. Matt Silva, Vanson Leathers Custom Suit Specialist, will be displaying Vanson’s new hybrid suit, ventilated gear and latest motorcycle gloves as well as answering questions about their custom suit services. Matt has also arranged for a mobile version of Vanson’s unique repair service to support Vanson owners at the track. Although registration opportunities for the New England event are no longer available, those interested in attending a 2011 Ducati Revs event can still sign up for the August 15th school at New Jersey Motorsports Park or the October 10th school at Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama. The school grew under the leadership of Jerry Wood and their first advanced class instructor, factory rider, John Bettencourt. Currently, under the leadership of Eric Wood, son of founder Jerry Wood, the school has expanded from its base operation at New Hampshire Motor Speedway to include schools in New Jersey and Florida. Utilizing advanced training materials, with the industry’s best team of lead instructors, the school trains thousands street riders and racers in basic and advanced skills. www.penguinracing.com. End
