July 5, 2011 - PRLog -- Good Neighbor Homeless Shelter, in Cartersville, Georgia, announces the launch of a new and improved website designed to improve our distribution of information about the shelter and our involvement in the community.

The shelter's director, Jessica Mitcham, says "We are all very excited about the site and its value in helping us ‘get the word out’ and invite support from our community."

The redesign focused on creating a site that is cleaner, more informative, simple to navigate, and easier to use. The new site brings together content and contact information from Good Neighbor's key internal and external management sources.

Since 1996, the Shelter has been providing men, women, and families with temporary shelter and physical, emotional, and spiritual support. Their caring staff and volunteers assist the guests with developing and prioritizing goals for their return to the community as productive members.

The new site, developed by North Georgia Web Developer Web-Magic, went live on July 5, 2011. Director Mitcham adds, “We invite both our current sponsors and potential new donors to visit us online and learn more about the shelter and how they can help.”

The site offers donors information on shelter programs as well as providing information about current needs, events, and opportunities to donate online or to volunteer to assist.
