Wind Power System donated to Mabalacat College, of the "Off Grid Energy System"

July 4, 2011 - PRLog -- It was an honor, today, to take part in the formal acceptance, by Mabalacat College, of the "Off Grid Energy System" donated to them by Rotary International D-2680 and the Kobe Suma RC, Japan.

Rotary Club of Mabalacat Clark came to us with the prospect of this project. The objective, as outlined by Rotary, was to provide a means of supplying "free" power for such things as outdoor
sports venues as well as security and signage lighting. I immediately agreed to an active FESMC role.

It was our pleasure to partner with Rotary Club of Mabalacat Clark, in this project, and in the process provide an environment in which the students of Mabalacat College enjoyed the collateral benefit of having a functioning, examinable, example of a Hybrid Solar/Wind Renewable Energy system in their grasps; an example they can see, an example they can touch, an example they can learn about, an example that enhances
their lives , an example that broadens their education.

First Energy Solution manufactured this purpose built system which provides the energy to illuminate signage and allow the students use of basketball and volleyball courts at night It is a small step, but a healthy one.
