Determined Planners Pledge DC -11/11/11 "Gathering of the Church" to Go On Despite Funding Setbacks.

July 3, 2011 - PRLog -- For the past five months, as staff of Christian non-profit One Curch // One Voice have driven accross Martinez, CA, to their US Postal Service Post Office Box, they have prayed faithful prayers. They prayed that Christians around the world, whom the organization has been reaching out to invite to Washington, DC, for the Gathering of the Church, on November 11, 2011, at the Natonal Mall, would respond to the need for generosity required by the projected costs of the event, and donate in support of the church gathering.

Each and every time, the staff have returned to the operational offices with sale advertisements, satellite TV brochures, water company cutomer relations pamphlets, and pipeline information from the local oil refinery- -but no donations, from anywhere in the world, for the IRS code 501C3 qualified non-profit organization.

One Church // One Voice founder Robert Berry recalls that he, early in the process of planning the Gathering of the Church, said he felt like he was "a voice calling in the wilderness." It would seem, unfortunately, that he was correct! "We have obtained zero, so we now need a hero!" says Berry.

But the group is going ahead with plans for the Global Gathering of the Church, "Because God is in charge, and I believe that there is a way this will be accomplished, for the glory of God. It is God who wants to see His people tear down the walls between themselves and come togther in His Son's purpose and will. Many people have received a divine message to gather the church on 11/11/11, and The Lord has something planned for us, at that time, What it will be, I do not know, but I do know that the gathered faithful of the Lord will receive manifold blessings from coming together, in a non-sectarian, non- denominational way, with Christ in the center, to worship, hear the preaching of the word of God, and pray in unity for the fallen world, the collected church, and our respective nations. I also know that it will not make Satan happy!"

The One Church // One Voice group says they will now have to use their voice in a media based campaign, to blitz the world's airwaves with information regarding the Global Gathering of the Church. "We have to take this to Christian radio and both mainstream secular as well as Christian television. We have to advertize effectively. We have to ask everyone involved to spread the word to the maximum extent possible, especially via broadcast media. We also invite all Christian servicepersons stationed in the vicinity of our nation's capitol to attend the Veterans' day event, and be prayed over by the collected church, as well as pray and worship with us." The organization will host the event from 11 am to 9 pm on November 11th, with a two hour site clean-up to follow. Christians from around the world and from all different denominations and branches of our Church have been invited to this event, including one-hundred and sixteen Washington, DC, Virginia, and Maryland vicinity churches who were asked to act as host churches.

The organization also emphasized that they are open to Christian corporate sponsorship, or a Christian benefactor who may wish to fund the Global Gathering of the Church.

As a reminder to those churches whom are participating, the June 30th trigger date for progress reports has passed. Progress reports, which may be emailed to onechurch.onevoice@gmail.com, should consist of:

1. Name of Church.
2. Contact email address, telephone number.
3.Type of participation(International, domestic recruiting [missionary church], sponsoring pilgrims [sponsor church], hosting pilgrims on their way to Washington, DC [host church], praying in support of the event and also on the day of the event [prayer warrior church], or whether you have individual prayer warriors praying for the Gathering of the Church and praying on the day of the event.[individual prayer warriors]).
4. Number of persons who are going to attend 11/11/11 Global Gathering of the Church, in Washington, DC, on November 11th, 2011.

Also, One Church // One Voice staff requests you let them know if you have a church bus that can participate in a bus bridge, from the local airports to the National Mall, to help bring pilgrims to the event.

The 11/11/11 gathering still has worship performance and preaching/prayer-leading slots available for those willing to volunteer to address or lead in worship the collected, called out Church. This should prove to be a uniquely exhilerating experience. Email onechurch.onevoice@gmail.com.
