Finnfest 2011 Opens a Window to Finland for Californians

Catch the Finnish Wave at the 28th Annual FinnFest Conference and Festival

July 1, 2011 - PRLog -- (SAN DIEGO, CA) July 1, 2011 – This August, FinnFest will once again celebrate Finnish-American heritage in San Diego with five full days of cultural immersion. The annual festival will commence with opening ceremonies at the Town & Country Resort Hotel in Mission Valley on Wednesday, August 10 at 5 p.m.
Following the opening ceremonies, guests will enjoy a casual California BBQ buffet dinner by the hotel’s Tiki Pavillion. Entertainment will be provided by Conga Se Menne, a Finnish-American reggae band.
Tickets to FinnFest 2011 are $25 for a single day or $99 for five days and can be purchased online at www.finnfest2011.com. Various senior and youth discounts are also available.
FinnFest is an annual celebration that highlights contemporary Finland and celebrates the unique Finnish-American heritage.
