The American Dream Remains Supreme For Neal Homebuyers

37 Contracts Make This Neal's Best June Since 2004

July 1, 2011 - PRLog -- Southwest Florida -- Proving the American Dream remains alive, Neal Communities’ robust June 2011 ended with 37 signed contracts. This count surpasses every June sales record the company has had since 2004.

These figures support recent findings in the New York Times and CBS News poll saying that nearly nine out of 10 Americans say homeownership is an important part of the American dream and are keen on making sure it stays that way. These sentiments are clearly emulated by the Bradenton home builder. To-date, Neal has almost doubled total sales over the first half of June 2010, with an average price of $254,156 with sales ranging from low $100s to high $400s. Another positive trend is that 45 percent of these sales were cash purchases, demonstrating Americans believe in the value of a home investment.

“While economic foes still debate the value of buying a home, our buyers clearly believe in this American Dream,” says Mike Storey, Neal Communities Building Division President. “Our continuously strong sales for all of 2011 clearly demonstrate that when priced right and with quality building and service, the market can and will remain strong,” Storey added.

Of the 37 total signed contracts, Belleisle in County Club East took the lead with eight contracts, followed by Central Park with seven. Others included Forest Creek (6) Wisteria Park and Lakewood Ranch Country Club (3 each), River Sound and Country Club East (2 each), and Mandalay and Miramar (1 each). In Sarasota County, the Englewood area’s Arlington Cove community, which opened in June, had two signed contracts its opening weekend.  Sawgrass, located in Venice, also brought in 2 contracts over the month.

“Neal Communities continued to lead the way in the new homes sector in Sarasota and Bradenton during the month of June,” said Tony Polito, Tampa Bay Market Director for MetroStudy. “Typically, Sarasota area sales slow during the summer months, but the combination of price, product and location once again helped Neal set the pace for new home sales.”

Neal Communities is ranked #1 locally by MetroStudy and by Hanley Wood Market Intelligence based on number of home sales and ranked #94 nationally among home builders by BUILDER Magazine.  As the area’s largest and most established locally owned and operated private builder, Neal Communities is continually striving for excellence in every aspect of the home building and development business.  Neal Signature Homes, John Neal Homes, Charlene Neal PureStyle, Waterscapes Pools & Spas, and First Continental Mortgage all contribute to the firm’s continued, record-setting success.
