"Mistaken are those who think we will allow the arrest or the detention of any of our fighters," he said. "Any hand that will touch any of them will be cut off."Politics rarely gets more complex than it does in Lebanon. But this was Shakespearean. The Lebanese government last year was led by Sa'ad Hariri who was the son of the murdered prime minister. When Hezbollah demanded that he boycott the tribunal that was investigating his own father's assassination he refused and his government collapsed.

In the midst of the turmoil in the Middle East, Lebanon has been relatively quiet, until now. Six years after the assassination of prime minister Rafik Hariri a UN tribunal has issued arrest warrants for four suspects believed to have links to Hezbollah, the dominant military and political force in the country.It could hardly be a more volatile mix as Middle East correspondent Ben Knight reports.
Since then Hezbollah has become stronger than ever politically. It's the power behind the new Lebanese government. That same government has now got arrest warrants for four men who are believed to be members of Hezbollah, the patron of the prime minister.
