Gulliver Schools hires coaches for boys’ basketball, girls’ volleyball

Gulliver Schools in Coral Gables, Fla., has hired coaches for boys’ varsity basketball and girls’ volleyball for the upcoming 2011-12 school year.

June 30, 2011 - PRLog -- Gulliver Schools has hired coaches for boys’ varsity basketball and girls’ volleyball for the upcoming 2011-12 school year.

Manny Bloom was hired as the boys’ varsity basketball coach, bringing 11 years of experience as a high school head coach. Bloom has experience as head coach at Boca Raton High School and Franklin County High School in Eastpoint, Fla., and has been a coach and keynote speaker at the nationwide Five Star and Nike basketball camps among others.

Edward Potter, known in the community for his involvement in club volleyball, was named head coach of girls’ volleyball. Potter has worked with high school players in the club Miami Elite, helping many of them to qualify for Junior Olympic competitions. As a high school coach, Potter has amassed a 150-30 record for his career.

Gulliver Schools is a 501 (c) (3) private, not-for-profit, independent, coeducational, nonsectarian day school with the mission of providing a superior college-preparatory education and ensuring an outstanding dynamic learning environment which recognizes and nurtures the unique talents and gifts of each student.
