Sunlight Solar Energy partners with Renew Boston to bring solar energy to Boston residents

June 30, 2011 - PRLog -- Sunlight Solar Energy, one of the leading solar power installation companies in Massachusetts, today announced a partnership with the Renew Boston Solar Program, a pilot initiative by the City of Boston. Through this partnership, solar photovoltaic rebates will be provided to Boston homeowners meeting certain energy efficiency eligibility criteria.

Renew Boston offers free home energy assessments and upgrades to qualifying residents. Following an energy assessment, Sunlight Solar Energy will work with Boston homeowners, designing and installing turn-key solar energy systems, including all permits, applications, and incentive paperwork.

Renew Boston Solar and it’s community partners will be hosting Solar 101 education sessions throughout the summer to educate residents about this new initiative and their options for going solar.  

Massachusetts electricity rates are among the top ten most expensive in the United States, and, historically have increased by an average of 5-8 percent annually. The Renew Boston Solar program provides Boston homeowners with the opportunity to reduce energy costs and their carbon footprint.
