NDNA Announces New Partnership with ASDA to Help Nurseries Enjoy Benefits of Online Shopping
National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) today announced that it is working in partnership with supermarket chain ASDA to offer nurseries a dedicated online shopping experience within the ASDA business website.
Nurseries can now visit http://www.asda.com/
NDNA has been working closely with ASDA to develop the special website which has been designed to make the shopping experience easy for nurseries. As well as the pre-created lists, nurseries are able to create and save their own weekly lists in reflection of changing menus, and are still able to add and remove items as necessary. Products for special diets, allergies and organic products are also available, and ASDA will deliver the order at a time to suit the nursery.
With online shopping offering nurseries a way to save valuable staff time, nurseries are also guaranteed to save money too. ASDA were recently confirmed as the lowest priced supermarket for the 14th year running. In addition, the ASDA 10% cheaper price guarantee also applies to online orders, meaning settings can input their receipt details and compare the cost to other supermarkets. If for any reason it is not 10% cheaper on your comparable grocery shopping, ASDA will give you the difference
Purnima Tanuku OBE, Chief Executive of NDNA comments: “Shopping online offers a range of benefits to a nursery and frees up valuable staff time. We are pleased to have worked closely with ASDA to make sure the dedicated nursery shopping area is as easy-to-use and tailored to the needs of settings. Not all supermarkets will deliver to businesses, so we are really pleased to be working with ASDA to offer a service designed with the busy nursery manager in mind. We’ve had some great feedback already and look forward to hearing how the service is working for the sector.”
Adam Cox, Head of Business to Business at ASDA says: “We’re really pleased to be working with NDNA to make sure this dedicated area for nurseries is as quick and easy to use as possible. From speaking to nurseries we know how busy they are, and we very much hope that this option will help nurseries save money and time as well as benefit from a cost-effective weekly shop.”
