CSECO Executive Presentation Featured at Counter Terror Expo in London 2011

June 29, 2011 - PRLog -- ALAMEDA – Damaune Y. Journey, Director of International Sales & Marketing for Campbell/Harris Security Equipment Company (CSECO), was selected to provide a workshop at the Counter Terror Expo (CTX 2011) in April 2011 in London, England.  The workshop entitled, “Contraband Detection for National and Local Security: Cars, Trucks, Boats and More” was part of a series of workshops in the category “Screening and Scanning” held during the exposition.  There was nearly standing room only in the exposition workshop venue, which is quite remarkable for the late afternoon presentation on the first day of such a busy tradeshow.  The subject certainly garnered plenty of interest providing Mr. Journey a wonderful opportunity to educate the audience on the importance of contraband detection in the fight against terrorism. and inexpensive equipment that CSECO produces to support the effort, such as its CT-30 Contraband Team Inspection Kit and the Buster® K910B Contraband Detector.

“Contraband detection should be the central theme and first step in every nations fight against global terrorism,” Journey said.  “This workshop will not only highlight the growing connection between the trade of illegal contraband across and within borders to the funding of terrorism, but will also highlight the value that inexpensive tools like the CT-30 Contraband Team Kit and the Buster® K910B Contraband Detector can bring to combat these threats,” he said to begin the presentation. Journey showed over half dozen slides with countless facts and figures connecting the trade of contraband to the funding of terrorism in places as close as North Carolina and New York to places as far as West Africa and beyond.  “If we choke off the funding sources (illegal contraband), we will choke off the ability to execute attacks” Journey said.
