Dunes Announces July's "Bands on the Sand" Line-Up

Weekly Appearances Coincide With Debut of Beach Bar
June 29, 2011 - PRLog -- Offering a different spin on New Wave music, Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort has announced another season of its popular Bands on the Sands, a free concert series held every Saturday at 6 p.m. during the summer months.  Offered in conjunction with the two-hour concerts is a Beach Bar specializing in a wide assortment of beers, wine and cocktails.  While there is no cover charge for Bands on the Sands, parking fees apply.  

July’s line-up includes:
JULY 8 – The Russian Ilya Quartet blends classical with Latin jazz and soul music.

JULY 16 – The popular tribute band, Springsteen, will dedicate their set list to The Boss.

JULY 23 – Surf’s up as the Hodaddies get the crowd rocking with classic surf party anthems.

JULY 30 – Jimmy Buffet tribute band will liven things up and provide the backdrop to the annual Lobsterfest.  An all you can eat beach party benefiting The African Project’s “Doc in a Box” and Leadership Tomorrow.
