First Annual “Best Animal Rescue Contest” Sponsored by Sound Earth

June 29, 2011 - PRLog -- Fishkill, New York, July 1, 2011 – Sound Earth, New York State’s only manufacturer of natural, pet-safe cleaning products, and recognized as a cruelty-free company, is sponsoring its first annual “Best Animal Rescue Contest” (BARC) -- beginning appropriately on Independence Day.

“Sound Earth is sponsoring this contest in an effort to help raise awareness of rescued animals, and hopefully inspire people to rescue animals within their own community,” said Ann LaGoy, Owner of Sound Earth.  “We selected Independence Day as contest’s launch date due to our strong belief that every animal deserves to be free from abuse and neglect.”

Contest entries can be submitted at http://www.soundearth.com/barc from July 4, 2011 through midnight July 31, 2011.  Contestants will be asked to share a photo of their rescued pet, along with a brief story on how the rescue took place.  A public voting session will begin August 1, 2011 and end August 31, 2011. The winner will be announced via the Sound Earth web site, and a variety of social networking sites, on September 4, 2011.

In addition to “bragging rights” for his or her rescued animal on the Sound Earth home page for a year, the contest winner will receive a $100 cash donation to his or her animal rescue organization of choice, and $50 worth of “bark notes” toward Sound Earth products.
