DMV Rapper LaPret (Larry T. Pretlow II) New Single "Only 1" Leaks

June 29, 2011 - PRLog -- In 2010, Larry T. Pretlow II ran for Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner and made local headlines when an opponent used a racial epithet to describe him on YouTube. After a close election and his defeat, he appeared on the 2011 Special Election ballot for the Ward 8 Member, State Board of Education.

Today, Rapper & ASCAP Songwriter LaPret is set for the release of the highly-anticipated first single from his upcoming Solo Debut EP “The Way You Make Me Feel” due in stores November 2011, in digital format-only under South Capitol.

On Wednesday morning, the record was leaked and received an outstanding response from spectators.  A surfaced version of “Only 1” samples from the Cali Swag District single “Teach Me How to Dougie”, while the official version was produced by, Epik the Dawn.

Written by LaPret, the 22 year-old spots the girl of his dreams and woos her with his good sex, endless money, diamond rings and sexy romantic idioms to convince her that they belong together and he wants to be the only one that she “run too” and “love boo”.

“Only 1” is a sexy record that introduces a more sensitive side that LaPret has retained in his previous records.

The song was set to officially release mid-July 2011 and will continue to do so.

The official music video is set to be filmed as soon as LaPret fully recovers from an Ulnar Fracture of his right forearm which occurred in an incident last month.
