InselAir announces 15th destination: Caracas, Venezuela

Curaçao -based airline, InselAir, is pleased to announce plans to extend its service to Venezuela with 15th destination Caracas.
 
June 30, 2011 - PRLog -- Starting July 18th, InselAir will operate the route Caracas - Curaçao on weekdays between Hato International Airport, Curaçao and Aeropuerto de Maiquetia, Caracas, Venezuela.
Flights are on sale for a special introduction fare of $195,-  (return fare). The special introductory price period is bookable until August 1st . Special priced tickets are available online at www.fly-inselair.com, at all InselAir sale points, local travel agents and are available for travel through Thursday December 15, 2011.

InselAir destinations Aruba, Bonaire and Medellin have great connections via Curaçao to Caracas.  Caracas, a business-city that holds the name eternal summer, is known for its high cuisine, shopping and business markets such as service, banking, retail, chemical and textiles. Caracas is also home to PDVSA  (a state-controlled oil company, that is considered fifth in the world) and the Caracas Stock Exchange.

Next to business, Caracas has great walking trails throughout the National Park El Avilla, which is located between the city and the Caribbean Coast, and home to beautiful flora and fauna, as well as great shopping at commercial malls and street markets for leisure activities.

InselAir will operate the route with the MD-80 aircraft, with assigned seating, one carry-on and first checked bag free (terms and conditions apply), free food and beverages (non-alcoholic), and great customer service.
“We are working on introducing a Comfort Class onboard all our MD-80 and Fokker-50 aircrafts. We want our passengers to have a choice for more services onboard, such as meals, alcoholic drinks, but also enjoy the luxury of extra legroom and even extra ground service such as priority boarding and access to business lounges on all InselAir destinations”, according to J. Lippinkhof, Chief Commercial officer InselAir.

InselAir has started three new routes in the last four months. “Medellin, Colombia started April 15th, Charlotte, USA commenced June 22nd and July 18th Caracas will be added as a new destination”, commented E. Heerenveen, Chief General and International Affairs InselAir, “it shows our dedication and hard work to progress as an airline that provides routes within the Pan-American region. 2011 Embarks the airlines fifth year, which will be “celebrated accordingly”.  Mr. Heerenveen added that the airline has established 15 destinations in 5 years and has no plans to stop growing anytime soon. “We are also looking into South-American destinations such as Barquisimeto, Barranquilla and Maracaibo.”
