GAI Consultants Announces Promotions

June 29, 2011 - PRLog -- Fort Wayne, IN – Engineering and environmental consulting firm, GAI Consultants, Inc., appoints three Fort Wayne-based employees to Vice President.

Thomas J. Cicero, P.E., Midwest Regional Manager, has been appointed to Senior Vice President of GAI Consultants. Mr. Cicero began his career as a civil engineer with the New York State Department of Transportation.  He later served as president of the Ft. Wayne, Ind.-based Bonar Group, which was acquired by GAI Consultants in 2009.  With over 27 years of experience, Mr. Cicero has developed a broad background in engineering and engineering management serving as principal-in-charge on numerous highly-visible projects for several Northeast Indiana clients such as Fort Wayne, Auburn, Indianapolis, INDOT, AEP and Duke Real Estate. He has served on boards for ACEC and the Institute of Traffic Engineers.  

John Edwards, P.E., B.C.E.E., Director of Indiana Operations has been named Vice President of GAI Consultants. Mr. Edwards has over 35 years of experience serving as an Environmental Engineer and Project Manager on a wide variety of environmental and planning projects. He specializes in environmental engineering for municipal infrastructure and regional planning.  Mr. Edwards is a board certified environmental engineer with the American Academy of Environmental Engineers, as well as a registered professional engineer in seven states.  

Mark B. Jesse, Midwest Municipal Director, has been promoted to Assistant Vice President of GAI Consultants. Mr. Jesse has over twenty-eight years of experience in various aspects of the engineering and specializes in managing water, wastewater, stormwater, and industrial projects for GAI's Fort Wayne office. He is a member of the American Water Works Association (AWWA), the Indiana Water Environment Association (WEA), the Water Environment Federation (WEF); and an affiliate member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
