Atlantic Toyota Customers Should Know Toyota is Rebounding at Fastest Pace in Almost 50 Years

For weeks, it has been announced that Toyota Motor Corp is planning to be back on its 100 percent normal production schedule by the end of the year in November; June being its big rebound month with models like the Toyota Prius being back to normal production.

Currently, gas prices are declining while Toyota Motor Corp production is increasing. This is good for both the automaker and consumers, like those at Atlantic Toyota and Huntington Toyota, as shoppers will begin to see more Toyota Prius models becoming available.
According to the Trade Ministry in Tokyo, factory output from April to May increased 5.7 percent, which is the largest gain since 1953. This percentage is higher than the estimated 5.5 percent number given by 30 economists that had been surveyed by Bloomberg News a few months ago. With the production increase, there has also been an increase in retail sales of 2.4 percent from April to May. This is a sign of consumer demand coming back from the long months of high gas prices when shoppers were not looking to purchase.
The increase in production also means more jobs as well. Toyota Motor Corp has announced that it will employ as many as 4,000 temporary workers starting in mid-July to get ready for Octobers push in production.
Atlantic Toyota and Huntington Toyota customers should know that although it is time for the production to ramp up, time is still the variable to show what will be the final production outcomes as November’s 100 percent goal gets closer.
