Interior Designer, Julie Ann Segal, from Metropolitan Interiors Redesigns Condo Complex Common Areas

June 28, 2011 - PRLog -- Updating the Greenbrier complex was the goal of the project. By incorporating new tile, a modernized color scheme, nature details, and unique textures to the space the transformation is remarkable. Adding color was a must to this very white and green color palette. The use of a new more sophisticated green tone on the walls refreshed the space. Utilizing the color green was important to the board because the name of the complex includes green in it. Complementing this color with a soft teal blue faux finish on the accent wall panels and borders added movement to the space.

Adding nature into the common spaces was also a requirement of the board. Julie Ann Segal accomplished this by incorporating many different elements. The first was using a very nature inspired, contemporary leaf pattern carpet in the hallways that tied in the color scheme. The carpet contains accents of the teal green color along with brown tones. The soft teal accent panels done in a faux finish add in the nature element of flowing water and movement in the space. Refreshing the signage to fit in with the new updates was a must. The tile used in the common areas reflected natural stone to tie the space together.

The result of the redesigned space by Julie Ann Segal leaves the residents with a more comfortable feel.
