Leicestershire Health Informatics Service expands digital reach

June 28, 2011 - PRLog -- Leicestershire Health Informatics Service (LHIS) has announced the launch of a new website which includes a blog and links to new social media pages. Envisioned as a setting for its range of clinical and business of IT products and solutions, the LHIS site has been redesigned by its in-house web team, with bright new graphics and an easy to use navigation system, to help web site visitors to quickly find the product or service they are looking for.

LHIS specialise in providing IT support and services to health organisations and work with NHS bodies all across the country. Its impressive list of recent clients is available on the new website, together with some heartfelt testimonials from satisfied customers. Commenting on the site, Harvi Kaley, LHIS web and applications development manager, said: "Our new website utilises our own software to showcase our information technology support services as well as our hardware, software and telecommunication products. "

"It illustrates the possibilities of our content management system and how it can be of use to health organisations, such as GP consortia, as well as other organisations looking for an intuitive easy to use web site building tool."

New social media presence
To support the launch, LHIS has established a corporate presence on social media platforms Facebook and Twitter  and, over the next few weeks, LHIS employees will be invited to form small dedicated groups to interact in the LHIS social media areas on behalf of the company.

Sarah Ost, LHIS customer relationship manager, heads up the team tasked with spreading the word about Leicestershire Health Informatics Service. She said: "This is a big step for LHIS and for our staff, who will be provided with training and support for their new roles, through the Social Media Champions Project. LHIS employees are passionate about offering sound IT solutions and products and I have no doubt that they will be a terrific asset to our online reputation."
