June 27, 2011 - PRLog -- New York City’s newest young author/illustrator only 24 years old, M. E. Morgan recently published her first children’s book, entitled Cross Cultures: Peter Visits the Aboriginal Culture geared towards children between the ages of 5-8. After graduating college, she began pursuing her entrepreneurial vision. Morgan forsees that Cross Cultures will be comprised of a series of books, which will provide adventure, excitement, and knowledge about different cultures around the world.

After publishing her first book, she has already begun to grasp the interest of principals and daycare coordinators in New York City who have already committed to purchase copies and to host events for the young author within the next few months. M. E. Morgan plans to branch out to other states and expand to International markets.

The first book is a story about a boy named Peter, who comes to school excited about International Day, which is once a month. As he drifts off into a daydream, he finds himself in Australia among the Aboriginal people and henceforth the adventure begins. As for the next book, M. E. Morgan will be setting a new stage for Peter where he will be venturing to a different part of the world, Egypt, and seeking a new adventure along with meeting new friends.

M. E. Morgan hopes that this project will provide knowledge to children at a young age of cultures different from their own and will essentially open their minds to other possibilities. Morgan is also in the process of developing a brand for Cross Cultures, which will feature other products such as coloring books, t-shirts, puzzles, and action figures.
