-- With a 1,700 square stand, Girbau and its U.S. subsidiary, Continental Girbau Inc, attended to a large number of international clients, including those from Latin America and the Far East.
The stand also received a significant number of US visitors, who were able to appreciate the size of the group and its consolidation as a world leader in the manufacture of laundry equipment. Girbau’s successful participation in the Clean fair ended with operations such as the sale of a complete flatwork ironing system or a complete batch washer system for the Wyatt laundry in the United States.
Santi Carol, export vice-president and head of the U.S. subsidiary, greatly appreciated the presence of Girbau and Continental Girbau at the Clean show. "Girbau’s decision 15 years ago to commit itself to establishing a presence in the US has proved to be a great success. Today the new generations are reaping the fruits of those efforts" he affirmed.
Among other items, the commercial division presented the PB flatwork ironers, the new MG Series 6 washers, the Pro Logi control for Series 6 washers and the new features of the Coin control for coin-op laundries. Meanwhile, the industrial division presented Ecotunnel a system that enables savings of up to 80% in water consumption and 70% in energy costs, the new BMT (Batch washer Manager Tool), a control and data acquisition programme for the TBS-50 washing system and a complete flatwork system.
