In addition to being a unique opportunity for the emerging designers and boutiques, the event promises to attract the participation of some of the most creative makeup artists, trend setting hair stylists and stunning runway models.

”Being invited to participate in this event as the host is great," says Suzanne Libfraind, owner of Wardrobe Consulting and host of a regular segment on My Carolina Today. “This show promises to pave the way for more fashion recognition in the local area by featuring fantastic student designers and local boutiques”.

The boutiques and designers or their representatives will be available to take orders or schedule a private showing. Producer Betty Jackson, of Betty Jackson Management, says “This is a positive event for Raleigh, creating job opportunities for stylists, models and others involved in fashion throughout the year. Local fashion buyers and fashionistas will have an opportunity to view the collections in person.” Working in conjunction with Omar McCallop, founder of the Carolina Fashion Awards, Jackson is working to attract fashion designers from the Carolinas and provide them with an opportunity to gain the recognition they deserve without having to leave the local area to succeed.
