I Survived the Joplin Tornado T-shirts | A Hot Seller!

June 24, 2011 - PRLog -- "I Survived the Joplin Tornado" T-shirts are making a huge splash on the Internet!    The Residents of Joplin apparently need some comic  relief after their town was leveled by the deadliest U.S Tornado in half a century.

The "I Survived the Joplin Tornado"  T-shirts (see image) are being rolled out by WHAT'S HOT T-SHIRTS,  a popular CafePress website.   "These people have survived hell on earth," says the Website Owner.   "F5 Tornadoes are really rare."   Before Joplin, there were only six F5 Tornadoes recorded by the National Weather Service, since 2007.    

The T-shirts are a big seller for CafePress and come in different styles and colors.  The Owner thinks the T-shirts are a hit because they provide comic relief and also serve as a badge of honor.  "If anyone sees you in that t-shirt, they''ll automatically say something like... "Holy Crap you were in THAT Tornado?"  

Joplin Residents aren't just purchasing the t-shirts for themselves, but for friends and family.   "About 90 percent of the orders are for 3 or more t-shirts.  People are giving them away has gifts."   The "I Survived the Joplin Tornado" T-shirts are also available in kid sizes.
