The Marcus Group Takes Home Four Awards from the New Jersey Advertising Club

June 22, 2011 - PRLog -- LITTLE FALLS, NJ – The Marcus Group, Inc. (TMG), a boutique advertising, public relations and crisis management agency based in Little Falls, NJ, recently received four awards at the New Jersey Advertising Clubs’ 43rd Annual Jersey Awards show hosted at the Chart House Restaurant in Weehawken.

The firm was honored with first-place recognition in the Outdoor Campaign – two or more pieces category for summer billboard advertisements created for The Provident Bank. The ads featured seasonal beach-themed images to draw viewer attention and ran in 11 counties throughout New Jersey – stretching throughout the bank’s entire service area.

In the Direct Marketing - Direct Mail Package (inserts), four colors category, TMG took second-place for its design of a car-themed, three-dimensional mailer used to promote The Provident Bank’s commercial lending division. The mailer featured car imagery, including a sporty dashboard speedometer on the cover and a dashboard-mounted GPS on the interior, showing Provident as the destination. A controller to a remote-control car was also included with the mailer and recipients who called for a meeting received the remote control car that went along with the remote.

The firm earned an additional second-place award in the Trade Magazine Advertising – Four or more colors, fractional category for its fine print ad created for Wolff & Samson, PC. The ad publicized the firm’s Real Estate, Development and Land Use group and was featured in the November/December 2010 issue of New Jersey & Company magazine.

Finally, the firm received a third-place “Certificate of Merit” for the design of an oil tanker van wrap that acted as a mobile billboard for client Mitchell Supreme Fuel Co.
