The Tale of Rose – A mystical fairytale for grown-ups attracts readers all over the world

In this mystical yet earthy fairytale for grown-ups, Rose encounters a hopeful Nixie (who has been waiting for her for over five hundred years), some helpful doves, a scornful raven and a handsome seer, whom together assist Rose in her quest. But what family secrets will they reveal to Rose – and is it too late to save Granny Angel? Written in memory of the author’s aunt, who succumbed to breast cancer after a brave fight, The Tale of Rose is a beautiful story of love, roots, family ties and self-actualisation.

Rosetta Kivi works in the literary field, and is also co-author of a novel called Bosses from Hell. She has written many business articles for newspapers and has been involved as a ghost writer on children’s novels. The Tale of Rose is her first solo novel.

Kivi said: “I started to write this tale two years ago, inspired by my aunt and also by the stories I was told as a child. I feel children’s tales have much to teach adults, which is why I have adapted a fairytale format into a story which people of all ages can enjoy.”
