The Tale of Rose by Rosetta Kivi was originally published as an e-sequel online and the story, based on the Scandinavian mythology, quickly became popular among the readers all over the world.The book is now available on Amazon, iTunes and Lulu.com.
In this mystical yet earthy fairytale for grown-ups, Rose encounters a hopeful Nixie (who has been waiting for her for over five hundred years), some helpful doves, a scornful raven and a handsome seer, whom together assist Rose in her quest. Written in memory of the author’s aunt, who succumbed to breast cancer after a brave fight, The Tale of Rose is a beautiful story of love, roots, family ties and self-actualisation.
Rosetta Kivi works in the literary field, and is also co-author of a novel called Bosses from Hell. She has written many business articles for newspapers and has been involved as a ghost writer on children’s novels. The Tale of Rose is her first solo novel.
Kivi said: “I started to write this tale two years ago, inspired by my aunt and also by the stories I was told as a child. I feel children’s tales have much to teach adults, which is why I have adapted a fairytale format into a story which people of all ages can enjoy.”
