Real estate show expanding to New York City

Viewers can learn where to live, dine and play in New York and New Jersey

June 21, 2011 - PRLog -- Producers of the Cleveland-based Real Estate Showcase TV announced the show’s expansion into New York City starting on Sunday, July 10th.  The show is set to air on the Fox affiliate WWOR MY9 TV.

Real Estate Showcase TV has partnered with real estate broker RE/MAX to show viewers where to live, shop and dine in New York and New Jersey.  The audience can view properties for sale, meet the listing agent and learn about entertainment near the property.  The show also serves as an educational tool to inform viewers of the importance of utilizing professionals when buying, selling, building or remodeling their home.

“People don’t choose a home, they choose a community,” said Brenda Love, the host and producer of Real Estate Showcase TV.  “Our show lets them meet the people and small businesses in a community they might soon be calling home.”

According to Love, the show’s producers continually seek to feature the hottest restaurants and the latest real estate listings.  The show features close to 30 properties each week.  Other segments include half-off gift certificate promotions, the Animal Protective League pet parade with adoptable animals and The Open House Bulletin Board™ showing the region’s open houses.

Real Estate Showcase TV was launched in Cleveland in August 2001.  Its 10th season can currently be seen on Fox 8 at 11:30 a.m.  The producers launched a similar show in Rochester, N.Y., in March 2009.  Both shows currently average 30,000 viewers weekly.

“Our New York show will reach 19 million viewers per week,” said Love.  “We are now part of the number one real estate market in the county.”

Love says once the show in metro New York is established, the production company will look to expand into other cities.

“We’re currently exploring potential shows in Columbus, Ohio, St. Louis, Mo., and Chicago, Ill.,” said Love.  “Our goal is to have a show in almost every major metropolitan area.”
