Ware Malcomb Designs New Offices for Western Municipal Water District

June 17, 2011 - PRLog -- International design firm, Ware Malcomb (www.waremalcomb.com) announces Western Municipal Water District's (Western) new office headquarters are completed.  Located at 14205 Meridian Parkway, Riverside, California, Western Municipal Water District (www.wmwd.com) provides water supply, wastewater disposal and water resource management within the 527-square mile district in western Riverside County.

Ware Malcomb provided full service interior design for Western’s new offices, which consists of 50,000 square feet of office space, including general office areas, conference rooms and council chambers for public meetings.   Graphic design services included exterior and interior signage, as well as branded graphics through-out, communicating Western’s mission, vision and educational information.

One of Western’s goals was to utilize sustainable design in their new offices.  The project is currently pursuing Silver Certification from the United States Building Green Council (USBGC at www.usgbc.org.). LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) points are being pursued in sustainable sites, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources and indoor environmental quality categories.
